TIPS & TRICKS

I rough all of my rocks in my rotary tumblers and then put them through the rest of the stages in my vibe.

This is my process for the 4- ½   lb capacity of the vibe:

--   6  Tea spoons            220 grit/run for 48 hrs

--   1/2  Tea spoons         500 grit/run for 24 hours

--   ½ Tea spoon              1000 grit/run for 24 hrs

--   ½  Tea spoon             Tripoli (pre polish)/run for 24 hrs

--   ½  tea spoon              Rapid Polish #61/run for 24 hrs

--   ½   tea spoon             Powdered laundry soap, &½  cup warm water run for 4-5 hrs

Hand wash in warm water and same soap

Can you see the savings in grit and polish ? Also the time that's saved compared to the entire cycle in a rotary.

                 (3 Teaspoons = 1 Tablespoon  USA)
